Hair

Students must have their hair pulled back and out of the way for acro class, so that it doesn’t become a hindrance or get in their way. Very long hair does best in a bun so that it doesn’t get stepped on. Shorter hair will be just fine in a ponytail. Refrain from wearing bows or other large hair ornaments that may cause discomfort during activity. 

Uniform 

Form-fitting BLACK colored dancewear works best. This is because of all the upside-down work that happens in class. Students should will feel more secure, and stay covered, if they're wearing something that stays in place, no matter what trick they're working on. Implementing a dress code in acro class is the best solution, and we recommend a studio leotard, shorts and footless tights. 

Footwear

Students must wear either socks, half-toe shoes, or gymnastics shoes. 

Jewelry 

For the safety of your dancer, and the teacher, only stud earrings are allowed.

Stay Hydrated

Please send a clearly labeled water bottle with your child, during classes children may need to stop and drink water.  

• Payments

There is a membership payment made at the time of enrollment, this is due yearly (nonrefundable). Monthly payments are due before the 1st of every month. If tuition is not paid or submitted by the 10th of the month, please add a $15 late fee to the tuition. Students will not be permitted to attend class or practice if tuition is not paid by the 10th of the month. 

• Make Up Policy 

We no longer offer make up classes. Please consider this change when enrolling in our classes and plan accordingly as adjustments in payment due to absences are not allowed.

Bend Gymnastics has open enrollment year-round for all classes. Each class is charged a flat monthly fee. The fee reserves the student’s place in the class whether attending or not. Therefore, there are no refunds for classes missed including scheduled holidays.

• Inclement Weather

Weather cancellations are posted on the website and on Bend's social media. Weather-related cancellations are not refunded but we will make an effort to reschedule when possible.
